PFE-400

PFE-400 is a powerful floodlight that can feature up to 400W HPS lamps. It provides excellent illumination of extensive outdoor areas such as facades, airport aprons, tunnels, motorway junctions and intersections.

Structures and materials
Housing: in two parts (housing and door) in die-cast aluminum, electrostatically sprayed with a polyester powder paint finish, and oven cured at 180ºC.
Bracket: hot deep galvanized sprayed with a polyester powder paint finish and oven cured at 180ºC.
Standard color: RAL 9011 black. Other RAL colors availableon request.
Access door: hinged, detachable.

Electrical and gear compartment
Gear tray: electrical unit fitted to removable tray. With a protection degree IP66. For HPS and Metal Halide (MH) lamps up to 400W. A bi-power system can be fitted to the MV or HPS lamps up to 400W.
Mounting: receptacle with PG-13.5 cable gland. Optional fitting of second cable gland.
Insulation: Class I.

Optics
Optical assembly sealed providing IP66, comprising:
  • Flat tempered glass lens sealed with silicone to the door.
  • Faceted or smooth aluminum reflectors (four types) for different photometric distributions.
  • Extruded EPDM gasket between housing and door.

Maintenance
Front access to lamp and control gear. Screw opening of luminaire. Optional tool-less opening.

Installation
Mounting by way of heavy-gauge steel bracket with aiming degree indicator. Aiming by way of integrated sight.

Accessories/Options
  • Optional tool-less opening by means of stainless steel latches (R).
  • The floodlight may incorporate a fuse. FUS option.
  • Accessories for glare control visors and louvers, polycarbonate vandal shields, wire guards, etc.
